From the very start, it was Flamin….GO! GO! GO!
The evening promised to be one of fun, feathers and frivolity, and it didn’t disappoint. From opening time, a stream of flocks flew through the doors of Aqua Luna in fabulous style. We had Flamingos, Peacocks, Swans, Ugly Ducklings, Pheasant Pluckers, Flightless Casawaries, Horned Screamers, Macaws, Bald Eagles, Duffy’s Ducks and more!! Not only were the flocks in fabulous form, they were also in a giving mood. The live and silent auctions were as hot as a roast chook in the oven, the flying flamingo wheel spun its way around the world 3 times, and did someone say put another brick in the wall? The games went off like a duck takes to water and The Baker Boys Live Band had the flocks flapping their wings until the wee hours! We couldn’t be more thrilled with the night and are as proud as peacocks to announce that the evening raised a whopping $105,000!! The funds will be applied towards our project “The LIVVIng Room”, so to find out more about the cause and the drivers behind it, please watch our video, which we premiered on the night!
